60+ Followers & Mondays (and video games).

Last night I was pleasantly surprised to see that about 30 people had followed me making the grand total around 60. Just wanted to thank all of you for making that happen. With that being said lets get into the nitty gritty of my Monday so far.

Woke up around 10 today. I didn't get much sleep last night. I must have been overexcited about the massive amount of people that joined my blog or something but I was literally in bed staring at my wall for a good hour. It was around 5 in the morning that I decided to do something. I ended up watching King of the Hill on Netflix while eating Fruity Pebbles. For some reason that did the trick, I passed out after 4 episodes and 3 bowls or cereal.

That gave me an hour's worth of time to get ready for school. Got through that with minimal resistance. I made myself a sandwich (A tuna melt with a fried egg. Try it, it's amazing.) when I got back home.

Well after I work out tonight I figure I could relax with a good computer game. I've been thinking about playing something nostalgic. I really liked the Jedi Outcast series. Anyone have any old games I could take a look at tonight? On the same vein of videogames, i've been looking at that first person shooter Brink. I might get it when it comes out. It really reminds me of the Timesplitters series, only a bit more dark. And seeing how the 4th one might not come into fruition, it'll definitely hold me over in terms of fps'es. The Call of Duty series has devolved into a "love/hate" thing for me. And right now we're in a bit of a rut.

Rain? In my Southern California?

Yeah, I woke up to a strange sight. It was raining. It usually doesn't rain in Southern California. I mean it does, but the past few weeks its been pretty dry. I like the rain, don't get me wrong. I just hope it doesn't rain when I commute to my school. Sure its only like a 10 minute walk away but i'm taking shortcuts, which could be difficult if it's raining. Anyways its Sunday, and I don't want to clog up everyone's schedules with a huge post, so here's that snowboarding video I made for my friends. I'm seriously contemplating getting into snowboarding. I've only gone once and I loved it. Any like-minded testimonials to that?

I forgot my gloves.

I had work earlier today. If you didn't know already i'm a sign waver at my local mall. Basically for three hours I stand on a street corner holding an advertisement. Well I don't stand. I get down. Waaaaay down. Its funny how some people react to my dancing. I get a lot of smiles, fist-pumps, people taking pictures of me, even the occasional middle finger. But for the most part I get a positive response. Thing is, my hands get chafed from the metal handles so I would normally wear gloves to prevent that. I knew I was forgetting something today when I left for work but its not that big of a deal, my hands will be back to normal in a day or two.

So i'm back home. I don't want to go out tonight. I just want to relax and work on my friends snowboarding video. I'll probably upload it on here when I finish it.

Before I finish. I want to let you guys know that i'm really appreciative of all the attention i've been getting on here so far. Its almost overwhelming, to the point where I might end up overlooking a blog or two. I won't let this happen though, i'll make sure I visit all of you daily.

That being said, enjoy this video. I went bowling with some friends a few days ago and this was the end result:

TGIF

I love Fridays. It's pretty much my Saturday now. This is the only day (besides Sunday) where I don't have to do anything. I don't have class, I don't have work, I can just sit around and do whatever I want.

That being said, I figure i'd post a little something before I got ready for whatever might come my way tonight.

So for the past few weeks i've been contemplating on ways to improve my life in general. I figured my best bet was to start working out again. Sure I may look fit right now, but that won't be the case in a few years. I'm relying too heavily on my metabolism which is going to slow down eventually. I've already done that p90x workout regiment. Well, half of it to be honest, but I couldn't keep watching videos of Tony Horton telling me what to do. I figure sometime this weekend i'll go ahead and write down my own workout regiment and stick with that for now. Sources online tell me that you should probably do 2 days of cardio, and 3 days of weights every week. I figure since i'm already dancing on a street corner with a sign for 3 hours straight i'm doing half of my cardio. I just need to build my workout regiment around my job, and school, and this blog. So i'll let all you guys know how that ends up.

With all these things going on right now, i've barely had time to play on my 360 with the guys. I guess that's a good thing cause i've been spending too much time on that thing anyways. I did play for a few hours a couple nights ago with like, 4 of my friends. I forgot how fun riot shields were in mw2. Even more so when you've got your entire team sticking together in a huge group with riot shields. We lost more than we won but good times were had by all.

Lucid Dreaming

So I was reading online the other night about lucid dreaming. I've already had plenty of dreams like these, but everyone online is always like, "Oh hey! I'm able to control what I do in my dreams! Isn't that amazing?". Rarely does this happen to me. For the most part when I have those really vivid dreams, its like i'm on a track, so to speak. Unable to move through my dream, as if though everything had been planned out before i'm in it. So I try this method that would supposedly let you take control of your dreams as if they were real life. It kinda worked, although I wish the setting would have been a bit more enjoyable. Ever play the zombie minigame that was included with Call of Duty: World at War? It was like that. Mixed with Left 4 Dead. It was pretty fun at first, but things started getting hectic when I had to save my friends from getting their brains eaten. It wasn't fun when we all ran out of ammo and we ran through the giant mansion looking for weapons. I ended up getting nibbled on by a dog and I told myself, "Wake up!" before I got bludgeoned in the head by an axe. That whole lucid dream stuff is cool when you can fly around and make out with hot chicks. Not so much when its zombies. Kinda reminded me of this PSA I did for my high school about swine flu, back when it was a big deal. Not that anyone got sick anyways.

Well lets see how this turns out.

This would be my first time posting on a blog site. I'm a bit new to the whole concept although blogging has existed for quite some time now. I feel like this would be a good way for me to talk about my interests and what i'm currently doing with my life. Plus if this whole blog thing of mine becomes more stable, it would definitely be pretty cool to look back at what I was talking about before and saying to myself, "Wow, I was a total idiot back then." Hopefully that's not the case but I digress. I'm currently taking college classes trying to get my general education out of the way so I can move onto bigger things. I'm also a kick-ass sign waver at the local mall. That's pretty much it for now. Bigger things to come for sure though.
